Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute.
- Working Knowledge of Urdu: A working knowledge of the Urdu language is mandatory. Age Limit (as on January 1, 2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: Generally 40 years for Open Merit (OM) candidates.
- Age Relaxation: Permissible relaxation in the upper age limit is provided for candidates belonging to Reserved Categories (SC, ST, RBA, ALC/IB, EWS, OBC, Physically Challenged Persons, Government Service/Contractual Employment, Ex-Servicemen) as per the rules of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir. Domicile:
- J&K Domicile: Applicants must be a Domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. A valid Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority is a mandatory requirement and must be obtained on or before the last date of application submission (July 15, 2025).
